Coastkeeper launches interactive Web site

San Diego Coastkeeper has launched an interactive Web site to help the region track and control water pollution.

The site — sdwatersheds.org — includes maps of watersheds, information on water quality, water-related analyses, regulatory details and a blog.

Users can contribute to the "wiki," which is designed to serve as a community forum and a repository for data on bacteria levels at beaches, examples of good land-use practices and reports of water-quality violations.
